Frankenstein Musical

A group of enthusiasts who decided to translate and stage the Broadway musical Frankenstein.

In April 2024, the student company Studio Dendrion staged the American musical version of Mary Shelley’s novel for the first time in the Czech Republic, led by Linda Keegi Lopatková. The show featured live singing in Czech, set to the original score by Mark Baron and Jeffrey Jackson. The students did it all themselves — from acting to set design and costumes. After a sold-out premiere at Divadlo Na Prádle, the musical lived on through several more performances into early 2025, thanks to the team’s energy and hard work!
